Boys Night

It is hard to type this on my phone- I may have to switch from here to Wordpress bec it is easier to use with different devices!

The boys ate pizza, played a game, watched a movie with Pops, played cars on the porch, did a last for the night scooter ride on the sidewalk, listened to our bedtime story and are all sleeping.

Funny things:

Braxton took the trash out using hand trucks- his newest way of carrying anything bigger than his iPod.
He is also using his scooter to bring in groceries but that is another topic.

Caden asked if we are making breakfast in the morning and I love it that he loves it after all this time. On mornings after nights they spend with us- I make oatmeal and set out little bowls of brown sugar, a shaker of cinnamon, butter, and a small pitcher if half-b-half. They put their own additions in and just live it. Now, I will offer eggs, toast, fruit or pancakes, depending on what we have on hand.

Onto the funny things:
Elijah said he would pick out the movie but Pops said he would pick it out this time. A few minutes later, Elijah said, "We can compromise! We will compromise on what movie we watch!".

He also told Pops that grown ups can't do anything they want bec they can't say cuss words.

There were so many other things I could share but I am tired and work better on a keyboard than this little touch screen!

Nandy Land: First post under new name!

In celebration of this blog's new name and new nature ---going from just adding pictures and personal memories to creating a place for grandparents to gather ideas and hopefully share them... I thought I would share a link to the actual Candy Land game!

My grandlittles call me Nandy and when they got their first Candy Land game, I jokingly said that Candy Land was almost as fun as "Nandy Land" ... meaning, my house.
I was writing out all my goals for the New Year and when it came to writing, blogs, and such ... I was given a breath of new ideas for this blog.
I will start sharing the things I come across and the things others share with me.
Today's grandparents have such an endless land of resources to be the best we can be for the blessings God has given us.

Love,
Sandy... AKA: Nandy

Our youngest son, Braxton - holding our youngest grandchild, Isabelle Rose.
